British Standards Institution fire risk assessment guide includes dedicated part on housing

The British Standards Institution fire risk assessment now includes a dedicated section on housing, which agents and landlords should be aware of. The document is known as the PAS 79-2,Fire risk assessment – Part 2: Housing – Code of practice. PAS 79-2 gives recommendations and corresponding examples of documentation for undertaking, and recording the significant findings of, fire risk assessments in housing premises and parts of housing premises for which fire risk assessments are required by legislation.
