Tenant Fees Bill update

After a lengthy passage through Parliament it is now expected that the Tenant Fees Bill will shortly receive Royal Assent and become The Tenant Fees Act with an implementation date of 1st June this year, subject to parliamentary time. Strictly speaking the Bill, applicable in England, is still subject to changes but none are expected. Whilst Government Guidance has yet to be issued and therefore the exact detail surrounding the requirements are yet to be clarified, members are advised to start planning as soon as possible if they have not already done so.
