The Fire Safety Bill – Will you be affected?

Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy the Government held a fire safety consultation to deliver the Government’s objective of improving building and fire safety in regulated premises in which people live, stay or work. The consultation outlined proposals to strengthen the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) as well as implementing the Grenfell Tower inquiry recommendations and improving consultation between Building Control Bodies and Fire and Rescue Services in relation to building works and the handover of fire safety information.
