The new prescribed forms

In our article of 14 September 2021 we advised of the return to pre-pandemic notice periods in England and the requirement to use the new prescribed forms of section 8 (Form 3) and section 21 (Form 6A) from 1 October 2021. We reported that the forms were quite different from previous versions. Now that we have had a chance to work with the forms we will look at the changes in greater depth and how they should best be completed whilst we await them being tested in court.
